Emergency Policy
Patients experiencing an emergency situation should call 911. Tidewater Total Mind Care is not designed to address emergent or urgent conditions.

TTMC may contact local emergency medical providers to come to a patient’s location if, in the provider’s professional judgment, a patient is experiencing an emergent or urgent medical issue, or a patient potentially poses a danger to himself or to others.
TTMC providers are committed to providing appropriate clinical care. If a provider believes more intensive treatment is indicated for a patient, the provider may issue referrals for such care which can include, without limitation, admission to inpatient programs.
